We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
My landline has become extremely crackley when having an incoming or making an outgoing call. Whenever the phone is used it knocks out the internet and says that it needs logging into (although all that happens is the light turns orange and so does the broadband light). I have changed the filters in the house and tried using the phone without a filter but nothing has worked.
Thanks in advance.
PS There is no problem reported in my area
Report it as a noisy phone line, when that has been fixed, the broadband will get better.
are BT sending openreach engineer?
did you check that crackling was still there if you used test socket?
If the line is still noisy at the test socket, the problem lies with Openreach and there is no charge. That's why it is important to test the line at the test socket.
Yours, I'm afraid. But I very much suspect it will be a fault on the line.
