My parents have the Smart Hub 2 and two Advanced Digital phones on a full fibre package. The issue they have is that the phones keep disconnecting from the hub with the message "No link to hub" on each handset. The hub and phones have the latest firmware. Phones are fully charged.
Phones have been in the same room and in different rooms when the issue occurs. When they work and can connect, there are no issues and quality is clear and crisp. However, when they disconnect, they both go at the same time and can be off for days. Turning off the phones doesn't resolve the issue and rebooting the hub doesn't either. Generally I have to go round, reset the hub and phones and then re-connect. Only on one occasion has the phones re-connected by themselves.
Any ideas on what the issue is here and more importantly, what is the permanent fix?
Thanks
The phone connect to hub using Dect so either the phone are out of range of hub, there is interference from another dect device or problem with the hub itself. As you have already factory reset hub and reconnected phones without any real improvement you could phone CS 150 or 0800800150 from mobile and request replacement hub and see if that solves problem
Thanks - have requested a new hub, will see how that shapes up once it arrives.
