Everyday Phone with basic call blocking keeps beeping

New phone now charged and connected to router.  It keeps beeping (two beeps) every 15 minutes or so.  How do I turn this off please?

It's the cheapest one BT do, called Everyday Phone with basic call blocking.  The instructions are very basic too!  Did not cover this phenomenon.  It's connected to my router, and we don't use it for outgoing calls, just incoming calls from elderly family members.

have you checked there is no message on answer machine or on 1571?

Good thought, but no. No 1571 or answering service.  Thanks for the suggestion though.
