We have just moved home and was due to have the landline reconnected today between 8am -1pm
Still no confirmation that its completed and no dial tone from the home phone. Anybody have experiences of how long it actually takes?
Typically an activation can take up to midnight on the day, you're stating an 8am-1pm slot which would indicate an engineer from Openreach was booked.
Does your confimarion mention an engineer visit ? to get a proper update give the connections team a call on 0800 800 150, have your order reference handy it begines VOL013-
Thanks for the response. We got told it would be activated remotely. Still no dial tone this morning so we've got an engineer booked to come look at it Monday morning!Frustrating as we just want broadband set up so without an active landline we cant do it. We are currently hotspoting of my work mobile and a 4g mobile internet hub which is sketchy to say the least!
