I'm new to the community so am not sure if I'm posting in the correct place.
I'm having a problem with my BT8500 although have owned it for many years.
First of all, I have forgotten my PIN. No. and have tried 0000 and it's not recognised. I don't remember changing it so can't even guess at another one. I don't want to reset to factory settings as I understand that it will wipe out my address book. That has 200 addresses in it!
I'm not really bothered about the PIN except that I wanted to see if I could change a setting and can't see any other way to do it. The problem I want to sort out is that a member of the family that lives abroad is not being allowed through by Call Guardian. It showns on the screen as INTERNATIONAL but I can't find anywhere for me to accept INTERNATIONAL calls, so presume it's in the settings for which I need the PIN No.
Any ideas?
