Process and costs for re-routing a phone line/ removing a redundant pole

Hi,

New here and would appreciate some help please.

We have a telephone pole in the back of our garden which used to feed our house and 2 neighbours, the line is redundant to us and our immeadiate neighbour but the next house up has an alarm routed through their land line (I believe, although unconfirmed).

The pole support anchor is broken so it is slightly drunk already and there are other poles on the main rd to the front of the houses which could easily supply the line (this is where the broadbank lines come in from).

As the pole is unsupported it is a risk in our garden, it is also in the middle of our view and not particularly pretty so I would love to have it removed.

Questions:

Can anyone help on how you would go about requesting this please, and whether there would likley be any costs associated?

If it is unused then same question as above?

Thanks, Chris
