I have just come upon this thread and have the same problem. My mother’s caller ID has stopped working. She was able to get through eventually to an engineer who ran tests and said it was fixed. Unfortunately this is not the case and she just gets ‘incoming call’ message. She had spent 40 minutes on the phone to get this far and is understandably a bit down.
She tried again the next day but got told to contact the ombudsman!
I would appreciate some help as I can’t visit her as I am self isolating and she has no internet to access this forum.
