Telephone Line coming into Bedroom

Hi

My main telephone line, at some point has been moved, and it now comes through into my daughter bedroom upstairs.

I no longer want this as i don't want the internet router in her room.

Can i disconnect the line, take the wire out, and run the cable into the hallway and reconnect into the cable box there?

Any help is welcome.

Thank you

Clare

Re: Telephone Line coming into Bedroom

Only openreach can move the main socket. You could however get an extension socket installed elsewhere and plug the router in there.
