being forced to go digital

Go to solution

Hello I am not a bt customer , although the overall socket is theirs. I am vulnerable & simply dread the whole idea of going digital. What is one has a power cut? Some people dont own a computer let alone a mobile. So what are these people ment to do? should they need help?I really hope some one can get back to me.It seems that no one has thought what if the country has power cuts mobiles can not be used!!Why cant we be allowed to keep one socket in the home? Thank you Amanda18h

@amanda18h

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

Please remove your email address from your post, as its not permitted on this forum.

You need to speak to whoever provides your phone service, and find out what options they offer, as it affects all phone providers.

Your phone socket belongs to Openreach, not BT Retail.
