I have a Home Hub 6. About 6 months ago, my 5GHz band stopped transmitting. Going into the router wireless settings showed that the band was turned on, but from the home screen it showed that it was off. Cycling the settings didn't resolve this.
Today, my 2.4GHz also dropped out but was presenting the same issue as above. Performed a factory reset but both bands where still failing to transmit. 2 hours on the phone later, and it seems to have been agreed that the router was faulty and a replacement has been sent out.
There was so much friction saying that I was wrong and the issue couldn't possibly be as I was describing. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found an alternate solution? Was there a different way I should have handled this?
Hopefully the new hub will fix the wireless problem
