Yes we have pushed a paper clip in the reset hole.

There should be a quote box in the top right, but if you are using the mobile version, it may not show up.

As I mentioned, there have been reported issues with the HH3 wireless speed degrading.

I would like to suggest a few options.

Ask for a HH4 to replace the HH3, you would still need the white Openreach modem.

Or

Ask for a HH5 or HH6, then you do not need the Openreach modem

Or

Buy your own third party VDSL modem/router, they start at about £35 upward.

If you are out of contract, then if you want a HH5 or HH6, then if you ring BT UK customer options on 0800 800 030, they should be able to help, but don`t forget to ask for the new home hub.

Are you still in a contract?

Ah I can see the quote button now -  I couldn't see it for looking!

No we're out of contract at the moment.  I am reluctant to start a new contract with them given the issues.  As I said in my OP, Virgin are digging up our town laying cable at the moment so if it doesn't get any better I'd be wanting to move to them.

Thank you very much for trying to sort things out.  It is infuriating.

Re: 2 months of broadband/wifi dropping & not getting anywhere with CS.

May I make a suggestion, if you do not want to renew your contract, then simply buy either a second hand HH5, or buy your own router. Its not going to get any better with the HH3.

If you need some suggestions, please ask.

Its only a wireless issue, and I don`t think Virgin`s cable modems are any better in that respect.
