im looking for advice for a 3rd party router that supports ipv6 without much tinkering need to get away from the homehub i have a separate modem so not tied to built in modem models.
thanks in advance
Virtually all the TP Link and ASUS ranges support BTs implementation of IPv6. Not sure if there has been a change of policy, but Netgear originally said they wouldn't be implementing /56 PD so would avoid.
The problem is many routers say they support IPv6 but they don't all support BT's implementation of /56 prefix Delegation. You would need to ask ASUS directly if /56 PD is supported on that particular model. As far as I'm aware their later models do but this model is quite old and may not.
Edit: This thread suggests that it does work. The problems the poster had were not because of the router.
