3rd party router

Hey looking for advice and information.

I'm getting connected to full fibre 900 next week and been looking for sh2 replacement. When I get connected I'll give a sh2 a go but from what I've read is not the best router.

I've noticed that the Asus routers got a lot of recommendations. What to look for choosing a router for full fibre broadband? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Re: 3rd party router

These are known to work well with the 910 / 110 package.

Asus RT-AX58U   £169

Asus RT-AX82U   £180

Asus RT-AX88U   £299  (Expensive but my choice)

There are more choices but these "WILL" work with the premium package.

Buy once.. Buy right.😉

Re: 3rd party router

Thank you. So it has to be one of the RT-AX models?

Re: 3rd party router

You don't need the DSL models as you already have a modem.

Re: 3rd party router

The RT-AX models are all cable routers and WiFi 6 compatible.

if you are going down the third party router direction (which I think is correct) you are future proofing yourself.
