ANYFREE (Hell0 Doorbell) Video Wireless with Chime,Supports 2.4/5GHz WiFi Doorbell Camera Wireless

Go to solution

I bought myself :

Video Doorbell Wireless with Chime,Supports 2.4/5GHz WiFi Doorbell Camera Wireless,No Monthly Fee

I'm struggling to connect it to my BT Broadband and Motorola phone. I've messaged BT customer service and they keep on telling me that I can change the settings on my route for the video doorbell all I need to do is log into my route.

I'm disabled and if I could change it myself on my route if I log into my hub I wouldn't know what I'm doing and I might mess everything up.

Can't BT Broadband division just help me set up my new video doorbell please.

Maybe EE can help me because I have my sim card with EE, maybe EE's customer service is more helpful that BT's.

Thank you

There is nothing you need to change on the BT hub. If the doorbell camera is dual band,  your phone should just connect to it. You will then need to set the WiFi password on the camera so that it connects to the hub.

Just follow the instructions for the camera.

This is how these things work: when the camera arrives it obviously doesn't know your WiFi network name and password so you connect to it via an app on your phone directly without having to enter anything. You can then configure the camera with your WiFi details from the app so that it connects to your hub.
