I followed a thread for the above topic to set up a repeater. That worked fine, but the 2nd smart hub that’s acting as a repeater is constantly flashing purple, I assume as it’s not connected to broadband? I tried updating the settings to turn of the status light, but it’s still flashing. Any ideas on how to stop it?
thanks

You're correct in your assumption. The only option is to cover it, eg with tape.

Re: Adding another BT hub to act as a repeater
Haha, I guess that might be the answer. Thank you.
Currently each hub is transmitting a different wi-fi name and different password. Can I change them to be the same and is there any benefit in doing that?

Re: Adding another BT hub to act as a repeater
Not really. There is a school of thought that suggests separate SSIDs is preferable, as you can be certain that you're connected to the nearest one.

Re: Adding another BT hub to act as a repeater
Just make sure they are on different channels or they will interfere with each other.
