Hi - BT infinity user in a very big house. Have the latest home hub, need a wifi router downstairs to manage a 9 camera CCTV NVR, wifi, office wifi and mobile phone wifi. Have a new cat 6 cable coming down from the main BT router upstairs, so fully high speed wired.
Not bothered about using the same SSID for the downstairs wifi, happy to have a separate network for visitors.
So I want a router, with wifi, 4 ports and ability to manage high throughout . I'll turn off DCHP and not bother with repeating, as it'll have its own SSID.
Is there anything I need to look for particularly ? Can I buy a cable / fibre router for this second router ?
