All instructions followed correctly. WiFi located but when WiFi password is entered the following message is received. “Could not contact Amazon.co.uk. Check the router or try another Wireless network.”
I have cancelled WiFi Smart SetUp, divided wireless connections, turned power off and on, restarted router, restarted television, returned Firestick to factory settings ....... followed endless google based advice.
All online advice so far has led to same result.

have you turned of smart setup
Try making a hotspot on your phone and connect to that to isolate where the problem lies.
