Amazon fire stick has no internet when BT Parental Controls are switched on

I have an Amazon Firestick 4K. I enabled BT parental controls, and it loses internet connectivity. It remains connected to the hub ok, but states ‘no internet’.  When I disabled BT parental controls, internet is restored. Has anyone else had this issue?
