Hi @greedyfreddy  sorry that you do not have the Parental Controls option available on your BTID. Do you have any open orders on your account at the moment?

Post back and let me know.

cheers
John

Re: Apple iCloud access on BT Home Hub

Yep, had the same problem this week.

Just had to allow iCloud on my parental controls plus allow file sharing which was previously disallowed.

Come on BT basic stuff here which must be affecting a lot of customers.

Also make accessing Parental controls a lot simpler please. I use the app on my phone & it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Re: Apple iCloud access on BT Home Hub

Hi @greedyfreddy  thanks for getting back to me and sorry the problem is persisting. You should be able to access the Parental Controls once the order is closed off. I've sent you a Private message explaining how you can contact the forum moderation team and we will be happy to check they are enabled on your BTID for you.

Re: Apple iCloud access on BT Home Hub

Go to solution

Hi,

My IOS devices aren’t backing up over wifi to icloud. I have tried accessing icloud and i think it is being blocked by the BT DNS servers. When i use google’s DNS servers from my imac i can access icloud, however despite adding www.icloud.com as an allowed website on BT parental controls i still can’t access it from my mobile devices. I have also noticed that this affecting me streaming my sky go on  xbox and iphone. It all works okay when parental controls are disabled, but with children in the house i don’t want to do this for any length of time. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Apple iCloud access on BT Home Hub

I have exactly the same problem since early August I would say. I can’t access any of my Apple iCloud features (photos, findmyiphone) without disabling parental controls completely (which I don’t want to do with 3 teens in the house) or otherwise coming off Wi-fi and using 4G. I have tried adding iCloud.com to my list of allowed websites but this hasn’t worked.    Please help BT!
