Re: BT FON in France

If you only intend to use your laptop and not multiple devices, it might be simpler to just tether your mobile using a USB cable. Select tethering via USB rather than hotspot on your phone.

Re: BT FON in France

Hi, forget that! I've just gone into my laptop again and it's showing my phone as a wi-fi option, so that seems to work.

Brilliant! Thanks very much for your help. I'll give it a go when I'm in France in 10 days time, if there's any problem, am I ok to contact you again please?

Hi Liquorice,

Thanks for the further tip. I'll take a cable as another option just in case. Appreciate your help.

Deleted.

I was watching Moto GP playback, took me too long to reply and @licquorice beat  me to it 🤪

Hi Stew, no problem, hope you enjoyed the race!

Will look forward to trying this in France, seems easy when you know how. Will take cable as a backup.

Thanks again.

Re: BT FON in France

It is good. We holiday in Portugal each year and in the apartment they provide free Wi-fi but it it’s a bit unreliable. I enable my mobile as hotspot and me and my wife can use two iPads with no problems at all.
Enjoy. Remember you can always post on here if you have any problems in France.
