On the 23rd of November I had an email for superfast broadband and landline, trasferring from another provider. On the 6th of Devember I had the first visit from an engineer. On the 7th I was informed that more work would be needed and I would be getting an update. After two more visits I was informed on the 18th that my broadband was fgood to go.
It wasn't. Subsequently I have no two promises of engineers, wth no shows, about 4 phone calls to call centre workers who have been poilite but who have provided no further information and only one phone call fom my case manager who has promised to phone back but so far, hasn't. I have had no broadband since the 6th of december and one payment has been taken from my account.
Oh and for 5 days we had no incoming phone calls...
so does your phone work now? which ISP were you transferring from? There have been numerous posts of people having problems transferring to BT from SKY withg both ISPs blaming each other for delay
The Phone Works, but I still have no broadband and one payment for this has already been taken. I have had no email contact since mid december, and I have to phone them to find out what is scheduled. The only thing that is scheduled is "update" not action and I need to know when this will be resolved, what compensation I might expect and on that basis I may decide to go to another provider. I was coming from TALK Talk and there was no problem there. As soon as BT informed me that they Broadband was going ahead, Talk Talk switched off and BT did not switch on.
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
