Just had BT Fibre to the Home installed. their marketing literature says "up to 900Mbps". I am only getting 47 Mbps same as standard broadband. Been told Full Fibre takes several days to get stable to get the full speeds. "Upto" is very ambiguous as I could be getting 1 Mbps.
Anyone else had issue like this?
This comes up again and again, it does not matter how fast your broadband connect to the home hub is, your speed is limited by the device you are measuring it with.
The only way you will get the full speed to a single device, is with a fast PC physically connected to the home hub using an Ethernet connection.
A wireless connection is not going to get these speeds, which is why you are not seeing any more that you would get on standard broadband.
Sorry if you were expecting more with your very expensive broadband package.
try using fast.com with device connecting with ethernet
