BT Home Hub 3 Slow LAN Home Network Wireless Speed (Under1mbps)

Hi there 🙂

My Home Hub 3 LAN Wireless speed has always been under 1mbps, but I am guessing that isn't the way it is supposed to be? I have looked through all the settings in the Hub Management, but can't see what I should be altering to make it faster. Is there some reason it is limited to that slow speed for my LAN wireless network?

Many thanks.

Re: BT Home Hub 3 Slow LAN Home Network Wireless Speed (Under1mbps)

can you post stats from your hub 3

Settings ->
Advanced Settings >
Broadband >
Connection >
Click "Show Details" Button at the bottom

You can also try the direct link

run btspeedtster and when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post results  must be done with ethernet connection not wireless

there is no guaranteed speed for wireless connection

enter phone number and post results  delete number

Phone Number Test:

I can't do the wired ethernet test due to configuration of PC and hub, sorry. But the wired test shouldn't be relevant anyways to a wireless LAN issue, yes? It seems most of these test results pertain to my connection between the Hub and the exchange, not for my LAN? Many thanks.
