Just reviewing the software version on my Home Hub 4 (Type A). The router reports:
BT Home Hub 4 (Type A) | Software version 184.108.40.206.220.127.116.11.17 | Last updated 08/12/13
The latest/current version is 18.104.22.168.22.214.171.124.26.
Could someone please tell me how to "force" an update and why my router has not updated itself. The router is on 24x7 and according to BT it should download and apply the update itself.

i too have been waiting for a long time for update but ithink we are not getting it because theres a problem with it?
Very frustrating. If BT has a problem with the update then why note communicate this to their customer base.
never the answer your after is it paddy,a real reason from a good source about why no firmware update,also when my car goes in garage they update ecu at time of service and it aint broke so why do they update it?
Totally agree Shamus. If BT are reserving the right to update the Home Hub automatically then the least they can do is provide info on when an update will be available and what it addresses.
