BT Home Hub 6 changed it's wifi network name by itself.

Has anyone come across the situation where their Home Hub 6 changed it's Wifi network name by itself ?

I've just got a replacement Home Hub 6 and I changed the Wifi network name and password.

I tried connecting a device via the WPS button, but it wouldn't connect and blue light round the button continued to flash.

I turned the Hub off and on , and that resolved the blue flashing light, however when I tried to log on to the WIFI, I found the WiFI network name had changed but not back to original factory setting but to a different one and the password as well.

Has anyone come across this before ?

What happens to the name and password when you factory reset the hub by pressing the recessed button with a pin for about 20 seconds until the lights flash?

Did you click on 'Save' after making the original changes?

I did save the new Wifi network name and password.

After I did a factory reset, the Wifi name and password did revert to the original factory settings.
