BT Hub 5 Infinity. . . advice for 3 passwords. . or just 2 ?

Go to solution

Hi
* we have a password (access key) setup. . . made different from the shipped one stated on hub label. . . thinks that's sorted.
* we have a password (admin UI) setup. . . made different from the shipped one stated on hun label. . . think that's sorted.

Have been happily using it with no real hiccups. . . But recently noticed this. . .

In Admin UI - advanced settings - broadband - internet:
under internet connection configuration, it says:

Broadband username:bthomehub@btbroadband.com
Password:Not configured

Sooooo......
Is there a third password (where it says not configured) ? That shouyld be configured. . .

if so. . . where and how??

Thanks for any thoughts / knowhow.

That is the PPP username and password that is needed to connect to the BRAS (the gateway you use to access the internet) it is a generic username as you authenticate with your individual phone line. It is the same on every BT hub.
