BT Infinity Failover Not Working Using LB2120 4G router
My BT Fibre connection is currently patchy, an intermittent problem with the cable itself which requires roads to be dug up etc. and not a lot of chance of that happening at the moment - apparently the people who schedule the work are in India and India is on lockdown! I really need my connection for work, and there are 6 of us in the house, with 4 kids studying.
Anyway as I bought a 4G failover router, the Netgear LB2120, and a 4G card from three.
I have followed the instructions, inserted the 4G card and placed the LB2120 between the openreach modem and the BT hub, and I get the following:
1) The LB2120 router recognises the 4G card and I get a strong signal
2) The LB2120 router does not recognise the Openreach modem, and I get "wireline disconnected", which means it cannot see the openreach modem or the internet connection.
I have tried both bridge and router settings on the LB2120, and no joy. It should be very simple, so I am wondering if the LB2120 modem is faulty.
