Fed up - now have another BT Smart Hub type B - won't allow change of name for 5GH - operator saying she can't see router on - but laptop picking up signal for me to do this - says my only option for help is on the community network - does anyone know why the hub manager won't allow the name change for the hub (on both 2.4 and 5 GH) to allow previously connected devices to find the old name/password and reconnect. Trying to change the name on the 5GH side won't delete the name and put a new one in - been an issue for months but BT still taking the money - fed up.
You need to go to Advanced settings in order to make any changes to settings.

What are you actually trying to change? You can only change the Network name which is the same SSID for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi, you can't change them independently. Are saving the the change?
