BT Smart Hub 6

I have been trying to use the Wi-Fi mode on my Panasonic FZ2000 camera, it shows in devices in my smart hub but the connection status shows as disconnected. I can't seem to find out how to change this to connected.

Re: BT Smart Hub 6

I don't know the Panasonic setup but from personal experience camera wifi is not always what it seems.

My Nikon DSLR and Go Pro adventure cameras both have wifi modes for remote operation via apps, etc. This works with  the device generating it's own wifi network which a smartphone then has to join NOT by the camera joining an exiting wifi network.

I would advise checking your Panasonic user guide in the first instance.  If you can't find yours you might download the file here.

Assuming I've found the right instructions for your camera, then I believe my initial assessment is correct.  The manual is not very comprehensive or clear in places but it appears that a smartphone or tablet is needed to control the Wi-Fi functions having logged into the cameras network via its SSID.
