BT infinity cable from master socket to router over ethernet CAT6 cable

As the title says, i am struggling to find out if its possible which i cant think of a reason it shouldnt be.

I want to run the cable between the Openreach Mk2 mastersocket and my VDSL modem which are I understand are both RJ11 connections over ethernet.  I want to use RJ11 connectors on my CAT6 cable (which is currently connector less, just bare solid copper core CAT6 cable.)

Anyone have any idea on the wiring diagrams or advise ?

I will briefly explain why, I have a LAN cable that has been installed in the walls that runs directly between the phone socket and the place i actually want to install my modem/phone.  I dont really want to run another cable IF i can already utilise the ethernet cabling in situ.

Welcome to this user forum.

As the RJ11 is just a single pair, all you need to do is to connect it to a single pair on the CAT6 cable, at each end.

Make sure you use a pair, and not two wires from different pairs.
