BT infinity

Just had BT infinity installed with Hub5. I run my TV's in other rooms with a wireless sender and receiver and now I am gettiing interferance on the TVs every 2-3 seconds. As the only thing that has changed is the new broadband I switched off the hub and disconnected the phone and bb cables at the phone socket, however still getting the wireless tv interferance. I am wondering if infinity is c ausing some sort of wireless interferance to the home. Anyone else had same problems / fixed it. I changed the wireless signal on the tv sender as I have 4 options and it does it on all 4 chanels.

Re: BT infinity

have you tried turning of smart wirless and selecting your own channels in the HH5  I would also split the 2.4 and 5ghz networks by say adding a 5 to the 5ghz network and then giving then the same password.  possible you tv cannot conenct at 5ghz.  many devices don't like to 2 channel combined

Thank you, as I have just got the HH5 not played about with any settings, how do you go about doing that?

Re: BT infinity

To give the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequencies different SSids. Just add a 5 to the end of the 5Ghz SSid so you know which is which. Check the 5 GHz Sync with 2.4 GHz: is set to NO.

You'll need to connect your other devices that can use both frequencies to both SSids if you want them to be able to use either/both frequencies.

To select a fixed wireless channel see Link how to do that.

Also try turning off "Smart Set Up" on the homehub, it can cause problems with some wireless devices. See link how to do that.
