BTWholeHome iPad connectivity problems

Hi we have BT wholehome to distribute Wi-fi round large house which works ok most of time. We’re using firmware version 1.02.03 build03 and don’t upgrade after being advised by BT not to after previously having massive problems with network dropping 


We’ve noticed an older iPad (iOS 9.3.5 is latest software up date it’ll run) won’t connect to the Wi-fi to download even though it appears to be connected when accessing the wholehome app on a newer iOS device (which is able to download at acceptable speed). The iPad works fine when connected directly to the BT hub 6 Wi-fi.


any thoughts on why this is / how to solve?
