My Vodafone Sure Signal stopped working 2 weeks ago. I have had it installed for more than 6 months and it has been working fine. After numerous hours with Vodafone, it appears the problem may be with BT having reset and closing certain ports on the Hub I have been told that Ports 8, 50, 123, 500 4500 and 1723 need to be open.
BT will not advise on how to check if ports are open - all calls routed through India and I am told I need to subscribe for £10 per month to speak to anyone at BT who may be able to assist.
can someone advise how to check if the ports are open and if not how to open the ports. I have visited the forums on port forwarding, but as there are 6 ports that need to be opened I am not sure how to do this.
