System seems to have given up with me and getting a bit fed up resetting the discs (white) and so on. My question might be a bit silly. Three discs, three daughters living elsewhere. If I were to give them a disc each would it work for them then I wouldn’t be wasting £175. Thanks.

In short, no.

There wouldn’t be a whole lot of point unless they also have the same white disks. You have to have a disk connected to your router, so then they would just have two Wi-fi; one from the router and the disk. So they’re wouldn’t be a lot of point.

I suppose they could connect the disk to the router using a long Ethernet cable, or powerline adapters, and simply use it as a wireless access point in a different part of their house.
