Bt infinity. Atrocious WiFi help !!!

What can I say moved from sky fibre in October and have hand nothing but issues with the WiFi. 50mb download and 10 upload allegedly Sky was unstable but never had to buy WiFi extenders. Numerous calls , router resetting 3/4 times a day How can u get 35 mb and 9 upload and use identical phone straight after and get 1.2 upload.

Bt routers are basically **bleep**. Any advise ? if I could I would jump ship back to sky will keep reporting the service to the point I can leave because it’s total pathetic.

Have you turned off smart setup on the hub? Have you split the bands 2.4ghz and 5ghz?

You can also try to change wireless mode in additions to the suggestions of @Zombie 

 

can you post post stats from your hub. Go to advanced settings then technical log information

Yes the channels are split but was told the i5 only is if in same room as router , smart set up has been off since day 1

The 5ghz does cover a shorter distance but is faster and may well cover further than room router is in just need to try and see
