Bug in firmware. HH6 SG4B1000E020

Hi all,

I am fully convinced bt have botched a firmware update. I’ve tested it on 4 home hub 6’s and they all show a rise in line attenuation. My smart hub 2 says 14db. The hh6 on the old firm said 15db and on the latest it says 23db?

has anyone noticed this .. it’s affected performance a bit too...

My HH6A almost doubled the attenuation, got fed up with that and some other mis-reporting, so I have gone back to trusty TP-Link.

On the other hand have not seen the much promised firmware update (beta) for IPv6

🙄

Re: Bug in firmware. HH6 SG4B1000E020

Remember that nothing with your line will have changed when the firmware was updated. How the actual figure is derived and what parameters are measured or whether any weighting is applied to the result is an unknown (to us) and consequently it is of little relevance without knowing these facts.
