Kguard DVR NS401 has the following ports 2000 (media), 8081 (http) and 18004 (mobile)
I have a ddns account and viewing via the app (away from home on 3g) works perfectly
Viewing on my laptop, with the thenernet cable connected directly to router, works perfectly
Viewing via the KGUARD APP using my IP address 192.168.1.4:8081 fails to connect.
Canyouseeme displays all ports are open (2000, 8081 & 18004)
Any ideas?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you are using a BT Home hub, then they do not support NAT loopback, so that may be the issue.
Also the app will be connecting via the Internet, so would not recognise local LAN adresses, so that is more likely to be the problem.
I am actually on a talktalk router now (hG633), is there anyway of viewing my CCTV cameras internally using my home router on an APP?
