I've just bought a Kindle Fire HD and can't get it to connect to my BT Home Hub (I think it's a 3) I have an ipad and iphone and they are connecting fine....help?
See link for connecting an Android tablet. It should be more or less the same for a Kindle Fire.
Make sure you use the wireless passkey found on the label of the hub and not the admin password or your email password.
This is exactly what I've done, numerous times but I'm getting an error "DHCP Error - could not connect to internet" I'm nearly pulling my hair out! Thanks for taking the time to send the link though
Try a factory reset of the homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds. While it is restarting "delete/forget" any connection to the homehub on the Kindle then restart the Kindle. Once everything has restarted try remaking the connection.
go to wireless and tap your wifi network and box should appear detailing status, link speed, Ip address etc. Does it give you a IP address
Yea I have my IP address. I've tried changing a setting from b/g/n to just b/g temporarily as this was one answer on another site but this didn't work either
