Can't run QuickClean on my BT NetProtect Plus

Had been using this for years without any problem. I got a 'renew subscription' msg yesterday for some reason I don't know. I uninstalled the Mcfee and downloaded it again via BT website and installed it on the same laptop today. But somehow I can't start QuickClean but everything else looks working fine. Any solutions? Thanks
