Thanks for the help and suggestions, this morning all channels work fine, so no idea why they haven't for the last 2 days. There was no mention of this as a potential issue in the few instructions recieved, which would have been nice.

As you don’t describe what you have switched from and switched to, it’s rather difficult to give good advice.
But if you were with BT before, then you can start the SH2 as soon as you like, if you have an internet connection compatible with it.
If you have newly joined EETV, then the service will not start until BT activate it, and it would seem that you tried to use it prematurely, and found this out. But now, apparently, it is working, so all is well.
Have I read the entrails correctly? 😛
