I am facing problems activating my BT Netprotect Plus security package. I have the Option 3 package and therefore should get this security as part of my package. The software tells me that my computer is at risk and I need to activate the security. However clicking activate seems to have no effect. Can someone help?
In view of problems being reported with Netprotect, I would heed advice elsewhere to forget it. Instead download Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) for free and use it in conjunction with Windows Firewall. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) is also free and regular running of its on-demand scan provides a respected double-check.
