Change Subnet

Hi,

I wanted to know if it's possible to change the subnets on the Home Hub 5 for static IP's. I currently only have the option of 255.255.255.248 & 255.255.255.240. I'd like to change this to 255.255.255.252.

Thanks

Re: Change Subnet

What are you actually wanting to do, you are mixing several terms. Do you want to change subnets, do you want static LAN IP addresses or do you want to change the subnet mask in order to have more than one subnet.

Re: Change Subnet

I'd like to change the subnet to 255.255.255.252 as I only have 2 usuable IP addresses, I'm using this with another ISP.

Re: Change Subnet

The subnet mask can't be changed for a /30 address range as I believe BT only offer /28 or /29 products.

Re: Change Subnet

Cheers. I ended up getting a firewall which will handle the static IP's. Thanks.
