Chrome and IE get Blocked by HH5

Go to solution
The browsers on several Android phones work.

However my wired PCs and wireless laptop running Windows 7 dont work on Chrome and IE.
Rebooting sometimes works and they start working after some time.

HH5 firewall? Is it blocking them?

I'm still inside my initial 10 day period, could this be a factor? It seems unpredictable which I can't explain.

No, that would not be the reason.

This suggestion by forum member  gg30340, may fix the problem.

Select Start

  • In the Start Search field type ncpa.cpl and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
  • In the new window, right-click on your Wireless Network Connection and select Properties.
  • In the This connection uses the following items section, remove the tick beside (i.e. disable) Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then press OK.

Left click on Internet Protocol IPV4, click on properties. Check the options to obtain IP address and DNS Server address automatically.

You could also try the Firefox web browser, and see if that works.

The Solution:

IP Address Conflict between the Home Hub 5 and my WS320 Wifi Repeaters.

I can't change either their IP Addresses!!

I've had to purchase Powerline Extenders instead.
