Re: Chromebooks no longer connecting to internet

You could try setting your mobile phone up as a wifi hotspot and see if you can connect through that

Re: Chromebooks no longer connecting to internet

I don't know the model but I'm guessing that it doesn't have an ethernet port. Your work network will presumably only allow domain PCs' so that was never going to work, do you know someone who might let you try logging on to their home network? If not then for the sake of £10 or so you could buy a USB WiFi dongle, that should eliminate your network adapter

Re: Chromebooks no longer connecting to internet

The OP said he tried logging onto his works guest network so I don't understand why you said "that was never going to work".  Is the purpose of works guest networks not to allow non domain computers to connect?

Re: Chromebooks no longer connecting to internet

same problem,same attempted solutions

have spilt 3g/5g, powerwashed and reset , powerwashed chrome books..deleted all downloads,..yet still these dont connect other lap tops connect tohe hub....

only thing that worked for me was to reset the BT hub.

which involved pressign a button on the back of the hub....switching on and ff dorsnt work.

i now have to do this every month or two

takes 5 minutes
