Complete absence of news for setup

Hi everyone, 

I have been in the situation where I have received no news from BT in more than a month.

The context is: I put my order for a fibre installation on the 8th December. Engineers had to come to do outside work as expected. As I was told I didn't need to be home, I accepted them to come while knowing I would be out of the country for the holiday period. They came to my property just before Christmas and gave me a call as they needed me to sign something. I wasn't around and told them I would be back on the 6th January. Since then I haven't received any news at all. I have been waiting and nothing is happening.

I have put an order almost 2 months and I am not even close to getting a functional fibre Internet. I feel like my case is stuck in a loop as engineers came before but need to come back.

Would anyone know what I would need to do in that case? Contacting BT is not an easy task apparently.

Thank you for your reply. 

I was able to get someone and they could contact Openreach. This situation should be solved in the next couple fo weeks.
