Connect LB Link to Smart Hub 2

I would like to connect an outdoor AP / repeater to my Smart Hub 2.

This used to work fine on the Hub 6 as an AP but does not connect to the Smart Hub 2.

Ideally I would like it to act as a repeater - Does the Smart Hub 2 block the traffic?

This is the outdoor device - https://manualzz.com/doc/4187283/high-gain-wireless-outdoor-ap-user-manual

Thanks

Re: Connect LB Link to Smart Hub 2

Turn off smart setup on the SH2, try turning off the 5Ghz wifi on the SH2 and then turn it back on again once the LB -Link is working.

Re: Connect LB Link to Smart Hub 2

Thanks for this - I have now managed to get the AP connected but still no internet. The device is connected to port 3 but not showing as connected - I have turned off smart setup. But not 5Ghz yet as I was hoping that it would connect through ethernet.
When I try to connect to the SSID on my Mac it tells me - Wi-Fi has the self-assigned IP address 169.254.5.17 and will not be able to connect to the internet.
