I remotely access my CCTV through a NO-IP DDNS but are having issues.
Ive enetered in all my details correctly into the hub, updated my NO-IP address, restarted the hub but still can't get it to work.
I even changed the structure of my password based on some other posts but still no joy.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I to have CCTV and access it remotely, but I have to admit I have not encountered any issues on my HH6.
Here are my configuration settings for the DNS provider (I too use no-ip and use the ddns.net domain)
However your configuration should not end here. You need to figure out what ports your app requires and open these and direct them towards your DVR (which should be on a static IP) as I have done below;
I hope this helps, let me know how you get on and if you have already done this.
Settings are all correct by the looks of it, ports are all open but still no luck.
My remote app runs two sets of cameras. One when im within wifi range and the other when Im away which goes through the DDNS. The stream on the wifi works.
It was running through Virgin but this hub doesnt seem to like it.
When you say CCTV do you mean 2 Cameras connected to your router or a proper Camera > DVR > router ?
Is it one of those cheap £15 chinease things thats wireless?

No this was a £500 system at the time. 2 IP Cameras>NVR>router.
James,
I dont mind trying to help you figure it out. If your comfortable sharing the app, and system model and details so I can help you figure it out, feel free to send me a private message.
Im assuming its most likely its a Swann or Sentient, but most probably from maplins all the same I reckon 😉
Have you turned off UPnP on the hub?

No. That was on as standard so didn't touch that. Will try when I get home... unless I can access the settings from my phone
Change the ports used on your DVR from what it is atm to perhaps what im using.
