Re: DDNS and Smart Hub6 - cant get it to work

Just had another thought. When you were with Virgin was the address of the router 192.168.1.254? If not, you will need to change the address of the default gateway on the DVR to 192.168.1.254.

I think at this point it would help us to help you to know what make and app you are using.
Again I dont mind helping in more real time if it is something you need urgently.

But fromt he sounds of it, all configurations check out so without my info its getting a little difficult to help resolve this one. NOip works fine for me and updates fine. Coincidentally the ip of you router may not always change right away, as often it gives you a grace period to reconnect.

Real slap your forehead moment.
So virgin gateway IP was 192.168.0.1. I changed it to 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.1.254.
Thank you for your help.
I only have one camera feed at the minute but pretty sure I can solve it now I at least have the connection

Fyi - the make of the cameras and NVR is SPRO. The app was ISS Mobile 2 which was the recommended app.
