DLNA/UPNP with Home Hub 3 Type A - Supported or Not?
I have BT Infinity with HH3 (Type A). I recently purchased a Synology NAS and hooked it all up. Shares work fine but no DLNA/UPNP. I googled solutions intensively and tried many possible scenariios but to no avail. From searching this forum it seems to be the general consensus that DLNA/UPNP does not, and will not, work with the HH3 (Type A). The most recent topic is this one: http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity/DLNA-not-working-with-HH3/td-p/289483/page/4
It also seems to be the consensus that the HH3 (Type B) DOES support DNLA/UPNP.
Therefore, before I phone BT and request the HH3 (Type B), can anyone (from BT or not) confirm that the HH3 (Type A) does not support DLNA/UPNP?
Re: DLNA/UPNP with Home Hub 3 Type A - Supported or Not?
Wierdly I had an issue where my hh3 was working with DLNA then not - for no apparent reason. To get it working again I changed the wireless from b/g/n to b/g and serviio is back and stable again. I'll have todo more testing to see if I can get back to b/g/n.
