We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
I have recently joined BT and have a Home Hub 6 (I think).
My old D Link NAS DNS-320L has now decided it doesnt like being found on this new network.
If I try the install wizard it can be found, but the NAS wants to format my drives in there. But in the Hub Settings page, it cant be spotted as being connected to Ethernet Slot 1. Ny ideas?
Solved! Go to Solution.
You probably need to change the network settings on the NAS, to match the home hub`s IP subnet, which is different to many other routers.
If its been set to get its settings using DHCP, then there should not be any problems, but if you had set it manually in the past, then it will need changing.
Thanks. You made me understand what to do. For anyone who has the same problem.
It was set to static IP
Remove HDD from enclosure.
Run setup wizard
Login to admin once your browser finds it (which it will be able to do now)
Change back to static IP in here and it will.automatically save all the new IP address etc for you and work perfect.
